My mother and I started Cowgirl-Up Quilts in June, 2008, right when the recession hit! We are now in our second full year and have managed to weather the ecomonic downturn and have continued to grow. Our store is located in Benson, Arizona where it is warm in the winter and not blisteringly hot in the summer. We are on the road to Tombstone and Bisbee, both of which are historic Western towns. We specialize in Western and Southwestern fabric, but stock all styles and colors for a complete fabric selection. I have also added the complete line of DMC embrodery floss and an extensive supply of general sewing notions. I am often asked by customers and friends how the store got its name and what it means. In answer to the first question, my husband suggested the name and it means the following: Cowgirl-Up - Stop whining, quit complaining, stop bleeding and get back on your horse, this ride isn't over yet!
