Some of you may have wondered where we went because we did not send out an October Newsletter. We were busy traveling most of the month. We went to the Farmington N.M. Quilt Guild Show and then off to Tennessee and busy horse showing. So we are finally home and back with our normal scheduled newsletter.

Christmas is coming up soon, so stop by and take a look at our Christmas fabric.

December 17, 2011 from 1-5; we will be having our first annual Quilter's Christmas. There will be a cookie exchange. Bring a dozen of your favorite cookies and the recipe. We will also do a make and take Christmas ornament. The kit will be $5.00. We are planning a a white elephant exchange. Bring a fun item from your sewing room. Suggestions: Old patterns, seam ripper, spool of thread, marking tools, pins, needles etc.

November and December Class Schedule

November 29, 2011; Christmas cards. $20.00 plus $5.00 for the kit. This class is from 9:30 a.m-3:30 p.m.. Bring your lunch or order in. Instructor is Ruith Lewis. We will post a picture of this class on our website when we receive the sample.

Christmas Cards

December 1, 2011; Christmas trout. This class is from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Bring your lunch or order in. This is a machine applique wall hanging. $35.00. This is taught by Denny Peterson.

December 3, 2011; Stained glass. $30.00. This class is from 9:30a.m. -3:30 p.m. Bring you lunch or order in. This class will be taught by Doris Wells.. This is a machine applique wall hanging.

December 6, 2011; Christmas table runner. $15.00. This class will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This is a machine pieced table runner and is taught by Sandy Varley.

December 10, 2011; Quilter's Christmas. This will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the shop. This is a cookie exchange. Bring a dozen cookies and the recipe and also a gift for the white elephant exchange.

December 12, 2011: Garden Patch. $30.00. This class will be from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This is a paper pieced wall hanging. This is taught by Doris Wells.
